Q-Height Consult is a leading architectural firm based in Ghana, dedicated to the preservation, adaptation, and creation of modern habitats through a deep understanding of the history of human settlements and construction technologies. With over two decades of experience, we specialize in building conservation, adaptation, and reuse, ensuring the continuity of human technological progress while maintaining the historical integrity of structures.
Our extensive experience spans both European and Vernacular architecture, particularly focusing on the largest Portuguese, Dutch, and English coastal fortifications and merchant houses in Africa. We have provided leadership in the historic preservation of three principal World Heritage Sites in Ghana, including Elmina and Cape Coast. Our expertise in restoring and repurposing old buildings has allowed us to prolong their useful life, maintaining their character and sense of place.
